Tuscan artisanal egg pappardelle, made with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and fresh, high-quality eggs, selected to guarantee a rich and flavorful dough. Processed with bronze dies and slowly dried at low temperatures, these pappardelle offer a soft yet firm texture, perfect for holding rich and traditional sauces like ragù, wild boar, or mushroom. Packaged in practical 500g bags.

The Iconic Recipe: Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragù (or Sausage and Olives)

For a dish that exudes Tuscany, Pappardelle needs a sauce that "makes its presence felt."

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 1 package of Tuscan Egg Pappardelle (250 gr)

  • 400 gr of wild boar ragù (or good crumbled Tuscan sausage)

  • 2 tablespoons of Puttanesca Penne Pasta Mix (for a decisive touch of olives and aromas)

  • Half a glass of full-bodied red wine

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method:

  1. Browning: In a saucepan, heat the oil and add the meat. Brown it until well seared.

  2. The Aroma: Add our Puttanesca Mix: the olives and capers in the mix will give an incredible depth to the meat sauce. Deglaze with red wine.

  3. Cooking: While the sauce reduces, cook the pappardelle in plenty of salted water. Drain them al dente (just a few minutes will suffice).

  4. The Embrace: Pour the pappardelle into the sauce. Their broad surface will "embrace" the meat and flavors, creating a rich and succulent dish.
